Within a twenty years span, bamboo has earned an undeniable presence in the design world for its remarkable beauty, durability and dimensional stability. It originates in the form of bamboo plywood panels that are used in the manufacturing of kitchen countertops, vanities, bathroom and furniture of all kinds.
The bamboo countertop is a product of exceptional quality, formaldehyde-free and managed in bamboo forests according to social and environmental standards that are the highest in the world.
- 100% natural, formaldehyde-free
- Durable, lightweight and flexible
- Resistant to temperature changes
- Compatible with natural finishes
Bamboo countertops treated with beeswax or polymerised oils should be cleaned with a mild soapy water. But when water is quickly absorbed into the wood, it’s time for you to apply (depending on the existing finish) another layer of finish to treat it again.
Occasionally, it’s wise to disinfect your wooden countertop. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recommends cleaning your countertop with disinfectant bleach
*Combine 5 mL (1 tsp.) of bleach with 750 ml (3 cups) of water
in a clearly labelled spray bottle*
